The BSH intake separates itself from the pack by being the only one-piece intake on the market for the 2.5l 5-cylinder engine. The one-piece design allowed BSH to integrate the MAF housing into the plumbing itself. Thus, a MAF reducer is no longer required to avoid a check engine light. This part is a direct replacement for the factory intake system and installs without any other modifications to the vehicle.
Dyno:
Here we see a respectable 12whp gain over the stock part on a bone stock 2008 Rabbit test car. Notice the strong surge of power and torque in the 3500 to 6000 rpm band. This range is precisely where sport drivers spend the majority of their time. So, powerband flexibility is substantially improved. Of course, chip tuning will yield even stronger results!
