Spherical Ball Joint kit (MK2/3)

Lower too far and roll center geometry is compromised. Then, front end grip suffers and your Mk2 or Mk3 (w/4x100 wheels) understeers. FIX IT with this drop pin ball joint kit (Spindle/hub assembly not included). Tie-rod mounting points are to be lowered by the same amount to eliminate bumpsteer (done with a Bump Steer Elimination Kit).

Base plate is coated in zinc chromate for durability.

Pins must be welded in. Mk2 and Mk3 parts are cast iron and fully compatible. Whereas, Corrado G60 units are about 3.75lbs lighter aluminum alloy and cannot be welded. Mindfully opt for much reduced unsprung weight with G60 pieces OR to raise roll center with drop pins welded to the regular-spec spindles.
