Our gloss black Tubular Control Arms are designed to radically improve steering response, front tire grip, and handling balance at the limits of adhesion. This is done primarily by a complete elimination of bushing deflection and slop. Performance on bumpy surfaces is also improved via reduction of unsprung weight and far smoother suspension travel. Caster setting is increased by .5° and ball joint mounts are slotted to allow camber adjustment.

Although the top-quality Teflon®-lined rod ends provide no cushion at all, they articulate without any of the binding and "sticktion" involved with rubber and harder material bushings. On most road surfaces, driver and passenger experience a remarkably smooth but firmer ride with tremendous improvement in steering feel and handling precision. There is no chatter or knocking noise typical with rod ends.

I think that I was one of the first users to purchase this product back in March of 2012. Since then, this part has seen many track weekends worth of abuse and about 20,000 miles of driving, all without issue. After putting them on my car back in 2012, and after the alignment, I immediately realized what I was missing. I was able to pinpoint where the wheels were at through the steering wheel. By replacing the large stock rubber bushings with solid aluminum, every bump is tactile and precise in my hands like a 911. -not in an aggressive way that would cause an obscene amount of vibration, but in a way that provides more precise handling and communication. The tire's alignment stays exactly where I want with no shimmy on heavy breaking. The solid Ground Control camber/caster plate top mounts help, too, and even the turn-in is improved thanks to the increased caster angle. awesome product! the connectivity to the steering is incredible. turn in is crisp and clean coupled with the other products i have installed from USRT understeer is now distant memory. if you are a driving enthusiast you will really appreciate how these control arms will transform the mk4 driving experience.

Often overlooked in the suspension building process, stiffer endlinks instantly transmit the roll stiffness that bigger anti-roll bars provide. Skinny stock links bend and bind as the car leans over during cornering. This lessens and constantly varies the amount of roll resistance provided. -a confidence sapping problem for the hardcore driver. When steering angle is reversed, stock endlinks abrubply unload their energy and bounce back to straight position. Boiiinngg... This completely upsets handling balance. Don't take it for granted. Take action.

Remember also that these links are length adjustable. The maximum space between the holes (measured at center) is 14.25" (360mm). The minimum distance between is 12.3" (315mm). So, swaybars can be setup with any amount of preload desired. Anti-roll bar geometry is corrected on lowered cars eliminating common binding, clunks, and rattles. Replace your car's links and completely transform slalom performance. Look forward to steady state handlng that's predictable and linear vs. "surprising" at the limit of grip.
